Frankie Kazarian comments on Traci Brooks' return to the squared circle.
Brooks and Kazarian are set to team up at IMPACT 1000 in a mixed tag team match against Alisha and Eddie Edwards. This will be Brooks' first match since 2012, where she seemingly retired from in-ring competition.
In a new interview with WrestlingNews.Co, Kazarian said that Brooks is coming to fight as a pissed off wife at IMPACT 1000.
“Well, here’s the thing. My wife, while she’s not a wrestler anymore and she hasn’t been for over a decade, she’s always been a fighter as long as I’ve known her and she’s coming to fight. If people are expecting a technical masterpiece; no, she’s coming to fight as a pissed off wife. She’s coming to beat the hell out of [Alisha] We’re definitely on the same page, this isn’t what I would have wanted from the beginning. I didn’t mean for the wives to get involved, but here we are and sometimes you got to play the cards you’re dealt. We’re gonna play them and we’re going to beat the hell out of Eddie and [Alisha].”
