On Wednesday morning, Kenny Omega formally issued a challenge to Gabe Kidd for a match at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th. The two men got into an altercation at NJPW Power Struggle, and have been exchanging words in the media ever since.
Omega has not wrestled since December 2023 after being diagnosed with diverticulitis and undergoing surgery.
Kidd has accepted Omega's challenge, posting a video on social media.
