George Kittle's boss was not thrilled about his appearance at WWE WrestleMania 39.

NFL star George Kittle got involved in Pat McAfee's match at WWE WrestleMania 39, as he dropped The Mi with a clothesline and helped McAfee score the win. As it turns out, Kittle got a warning from his boss about the spot.

Per Marc Raimondi of ESPN, George Kittle got a text from 49ers General Manger John Lynch, which said, "Hope you had fun. Don't do that again."

Kittle did not inform the team of his plan to get physical at WWE WrestleMania. The former Pro Bowler noted that his mindset was "just don't get hurt, and we won't have any problems with anything."

Additionally, Kittle said that he would have considered doing something with WWE again at WrestleMania XL, but he was unable to do so because he underwent core muscle surgery. WWE wound up bringing in Jason Kelce, who recently retired from the Philadelphia Eagles, and Lane Johnson for WrestleMania in Philadelphia.

Kittle went on to say that he would likely ask for forgiveness rather than permission as far as his wrestling appearances are concerned. But Raimondi notes that if Kittle got hurt, he would potentially risk voiding his workout bonus of $100,000. Kittle emphasized that he aims to be safe when he's not playing football, when when he steps into a wrestling ring.

"I might occasionally be in a wrestling ring, but I'm not doing too much. I'm very aware football is everything, and so I don't even try to go skiing and stuff like that. That's not even on my mind," Kittle said.

Bayley recently said that George Kittle had the personality needed to be a WWE star. Check out her comments here.
