Imperium is a complete unit once again.
On the June 26 episode of WWE Raw, WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther faced Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn in a hard-fought singles match. The odds were initially even, as both Kevin Owens and Ludwig Kaiser were at ringside. However, not long after the bell rang, Giovanni Vinci came to the ring on crutches. He had been sidelined with an injury in recent weeks, but his return reunited Imperium.
Gunther and Zayn went back and forth in a competitive match, and Vinci tipped the scales in favor of "The Ring General", as he hit Zayn with a crutch. The interference helped Gunther clinch the win, as he floored Zayn with a powerbomb for the win.

Imperium went to attack Zayn and Owens after the bell, but Matt Riddle charged to the ring for the save. He helped Zayn and Owens clear the ring of Imperium ahead of his match with Gunther at WWE Money in the Bank.
Vinci had been out of action since Riddle snapped his leg on the June 5 episode of WWE Raw, and the broadcast team subsequently noted that he had a lower leg injury.
