Grayson Waller, if nothing else, is very confident.
Ahead of his first one-on-one opportunity at the NXT Championship against Bron Breakker at NXT New Year's Evil, Waller is already looking ahead to the WWE Royal Rumble. one of the things the WWE Royal Rumble is known for every year is their surprise entrants. Grayson Waller believes that if he gets the opportunity, he would be able to win the Royal Rumble Match, as he said to Steve Fall on The Ten Count.
When asked about the match, Waller joked that Fall was trying to get him in trouble with Roman Reigns.
"You're trying to get me in trouble with Roman right now. I can feel it. I know what you're doing, but that's okay. Because if I get the opportunity in the Royal Rumble, I have confidence. I know I could go on and win that thing," said Waller. "Roman is the toughest challenge in the industry right now. No one can beat him, but I do have experience beating a Bloodline member. Not many people can say that. I beat Solo Sikoa, and I beat him pretty easily."
Waller continued, joking that he would need backup in order to neutralize the massive amount of members of The Bloodline in the industry.
"So, if I get in there with Roman, and I have time, and I can come up with a strategy, and I can get some backup; because that guy's got like 16 cousins, 7 uncles, like the ring is just covered in Bloodline members, but who knows? Imagine me doing a shoey with three championships in my hand? That's pretty impressive."
Before Waller can live that fantasy, he has to be able to defeat Bron Breakker for the WWE NXT Championship at New Year's Evil on January 10. At that very same event last year, Breakker captured his first NXT Championship by defeating Tommaso Ciampa.
