Ever since he turned his luck around, Happy Corbin has gotten some new friends.
On the September 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, Logan Paul became best friend with Happy Corbin as the two men confronted Kevin Owens. Owens famously gave Paul a stunner at WrestleMania 37 and Paul was coming for revenge.
Speaking to Walandi Tsanti, Happy Corbin discussed his friendship with Logan Paul.
"It was great," he said. "We found a common ground that people don't like us. We had a conversation about that and we're both finding success. I found mine in Vegas, he's finding his on YouTube and through the boxing world. He went the distance with Floyd Mayweather, which is something not a lot of people have done. He's someone that I thought could be part of the group and have some fun and irritate some people, but he backs it up. He backs up his mouth, which is more than most people can do. You see the chat, there are people like, 'I hate you, I don't like you.' Not one of those people can back up what they say, not one. They are sitting at home with a fake picture emoji, probably in their mom's basement thinking, 'this is my chance to go at Corbin.' In person they'll be like, 'can I please have your autograph? Can I get a picture?' I want people around that can back up what they say, Logan Paul is one of those guys. He's a polarizing figure, say what you will, people are gravitating to what he does. They say, 'I hate that guy,' but they tune in every single time. That's a special quality."
Corbin would bring another friend to the party on the September 24 episode of WWE SmackDown when he reintroduced Riddick Moss to the WWE universe.
