Several women's champions are joining the Women's Wrestling Army.
Women's Wrestling Army has announced that the current NWA Women's Tag Team Champions, The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle), and the current IMPACT Knockouts Champion, Tasha Steelz, will compete at the inaugural Women's Wrestling Army event on May 1 from Fete Music Hall in Providence, Rhode Island.
The Hex defended their titles on Ring of Honor events towards the end of the promotion’s existence as a property of Sinclair Broadcasting Group during which time Maria Kanellis, the promoter of this event, was in charge of the women's division.
Tasha Steelz currently shares a locker room with Maria Kanellis as part of IMPACT. Maria recently confirmed that she is on a per appearance agreement with the promotion which concludes in Poughkeepsie, New York.
