A big get for Barnett.
During WrestleMania weekend there are a plethora of other professional wrestling events in the city that is playing host to the "Granddaddy Of Them All". Shows such as GCW and Joey Janela's Spring Break, WrestleCon, Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling selling out Madison Square Garden for WrestleMania 35 weekend and many other shows are occurring during that wrestling filled weekend.
This past April during WrestleMania 34 weekend in New Orleans, there was a show presented by GCW entitled 'Matt Riddle's Bloodsport' and the show provided a different feel which fans felt was unique and ultimately praised the show. There were no ring posts or ring ropes and the majority of the wrestling was straight up mat-based and catch wrestling. That 'Bloodsport' event will be returning for WrestleMania 35 weekend on April 4th and the show is hosted by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett.
Barnett recently announced one of the talents who will be competing at the 2019 'Bloodsport' show and he revealed that former Pro Wrestling Zero1 World Heavyweight Champion Hideki Suzuki will be making his USA debut on the show.

Suzuki began wrestling in 2008 and was trained by British wrestling legend Billy Robinson. Suzuki has spent his entire pro career competing in Japan but he is coming to the United States to compete in Josh Barnett's 'Bloodsport'.
