Hulk Hogan puts Vader at the top of the list for best big men in wrestling.
Last week, the professional wrestling world said good bye to Big Van Vader who passed away. In the mid-1990s, Vader had a feud with Hulk Hogan in WCW and in a recent interview with Bill Apter, Hogan spoke about his old rival and how he considers it a great loss for wrestling.
"He was one of a kind. When you talk about great big men in the ring, you got to put Andre near the top but Andre had a certain style. You got to put the Big Boss Man near the top because he had a certain style. Vader could work with anybody. He could technically wrestle, he could do the high bumps, he could do the high flips, and he could do crazy stuff you'd expect out of a 200 pounder. He was closer to 400 pounds. He was definitely at the top of the ladder for a big man," said Hogan.
Also during the interview, Hogan discussed his first match against Vader who he claimed worked "snug" but would never leave you injured. He said going through a match with Vader was a proud moment because he felt like he had been through a war.
