Rumors surrounding Hogan's return heated up on Oct. 24 when Hogan told the Orlando Sentinel, "I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE."

This past week, Hogan was silently added to the list of appearing superstars at Crown Jewel on WWE's events page. When the addition was picked up by media outlets, WWE removed him from the page. However, WWE confirmed to Pro Wrestling Sheet that Hogan would be appearing at Crown Jewel as the host of the event.

Hogan had not appeared on WWE television since WrestleMania 31. He was released from his contract in July 2015 after tapes leaked of him using racist language. He was brought back to the company this past July, showing up at Extreme Rules to issue an apology to the WWE locker room.

Saudi officials originally wanted Hogan to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April.
