It was a rollercoaster night for The Rascalz on IMPACT.
First, Dez & Wentz became the top contenders for the IMPACT Tag Team Titles by defeating TJP & Fallah Bahh in tag team action. The ending came when TJP had Dez in a kneebar, but Dez reached the ropes and was pushing back into a bridging pin by Wentz. TJP didn't release the hold and his shoulders were counted down for three.
The Rascalz will now face The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) for the IMPACT Tag Team Titles.

Later in the night, Trey of the Rascalz was scheduled to face Ace Austin in the finals of the IMPACT World Title number one contender's tournament. However, Trey was laid out backstage before the match and Wentz rushed to the ring to confront Austin. Wentz ended up taking Trey's place in the match and had the opportunity to earn the title shot for himself.
Unfortunately, it wasn't a picture-perfect night for Wentz as he was finished off by The Fold from Austin.
