IMPACT Wrestling Adds RD Evans, Sign Katie Forbes

IMPACT Wrestling has added to it's roster, and and backstage personnel.

According to Jimmy Jacobs on his "Jimmy Jacobs Doesn't Know" Podcast, the company has brought in RD Evans. That name could be familiar to you for any number of reasons perhaps more recently because he quit on the spot at the WWE Hall of Fame. He'd served as a writer for the brand for several years. Evans also returned to the ring for the first time in five years for Beyond in July.

Katie Forbes would announce her IMPACT Wrestling signing Wednesday on the Women's Wrestling Weekly podcast, saying "“Yeah, so they let me be me, and I can embrace it. So, you all will see a lot more of that because starting today, I’ve just signed with Impact. All the girls in IMPACT are amazing, so I'm excited."

Forbes' boyfriend Rob Van Dam is also on the roster at least until January, as he told Fightful recently. Forbes said that signing with IMPACT was her goal so she could spend more time with him, and the schedule allows her to continue her modeling career.
