India Sioux Defeats Sanely To Win CMLL National Women's Title On CMLL Viernes Espectacular

A new champion was crowned.

CMLL hosted a special edition of their weekly show "Viernes Espectacular" on March 7, 2025, from Arena Mexico to celebrate International Women's Day. As part of the celebrations, the show featured only Women's Matches, one of which was a title match for the CMLL Women's National Title.

Sanely, accompanied by her father Mano Negra, defended her title against India Sioux, who was accompanied by the returning Hombre Bala Jr., in a heated bout. After an intense back & forth between the two, Sioux ended up picking up the win by tapping out Sanely in a Modified Cruzeta for the win.

This was Sioux's first title reign with CMLL in her career, with this being her first title reign since winning Lucha Libre Total Chicago's LLT Women's Championship in November. This was Sanely's first and only title defense, last winning the title on the 9/27/2024 edition of CMLL Noche de Campeones after defeating Reyna Isis. She held the title for 162 days.
