Big E earned one hell of a Christmas gift.
On Friday's SmackDown, Big E captured the Intercontinental Championship for the second time in his career. Big E defeated Sami Zayn in a lumberjack match, finishing off Sami with a belly-to-belly, big splash, the Big Ending sequence. Sami tried to escape at the end, but was chased down and tossed back in the ring by Apollo Crews and other lumberjacks.
After the bout, Big E made sure to celebrate in front of Corey Graves before fellow SmackDown superstars lifted him onto their shoulders for an in-ring celebration.

Zayn's run, since he unified the titles at Clash of Champions, lasted 89 days on television.
