Investigation Launched Concerning The Death Of Brian Christopher Lawler

Earlier today it was reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that former WWF Tag Team Champion Brian Christopher Lawler or better known to some as "Grandmaster Sexay" attempted to commit suicide inside his cell at Hardeman County jail in Tennessee. More details emerged today which unveiled that the injuries stemming from the attempted suicide caused Lawler to go brain dead.

Lawler was still alive until the late afternoon when his brother alerted the public that the family decided to make the decision to take Brian off life support and he then passed away. As the news began to make the rounds concerning Brian's tragic death, the Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation announced that they will be opening an investigation into the death of Lawler. Mark Davidson who is the 25th District Attorney General is the individual who requested the investigation.

The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation released the following statement about Lawler's passing:

"Corrections officers administered CPR until paramedics arrived," the TBI said. "Lawler was transported to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis where he died Sunday."

It has been confirmed that Brian Lawler was in jail for a DUI arrest on July 7th and he was being held on a $40,000 bond but that bond was never posted so could be released.
