IYO SKY and the other Money in the Bank participants brawled on WWE SmackDown.
On the July 5 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE Women's Champion Bayley faced Piper Niven after the powerhouse attacked her backstage. Chelsea Green, one of the participants in the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match, accompanied Niven to ringside. Likewise, Naomi was in Bayley's corner.
Before the bout, IYO SKY was shown in the crowd. SKY, another competition in the Money in the Bank match, was apparently scouting the action. Fellow competitor Lyra Valkyria was also shown in the crowd. During the match, Naomi brawled with Green. IYO SKY got involved, as did Valyria. Zoey Stark ran in, and Tiffany Stratton also showed up. All of the Money in the Bank participants started fighting, and Stratton dove onto her opponents. Bayley went on to score the win against Niven.

Nia Jax then capitalized on the chaos and attacked Bayley after the match.
