Jack Evans is heading to Slammiversary.
During the June 2 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Kenny King put his spot in Ultimate X on the line against Blake Christian. The Honor No More member would win the match, retaining his place in the June 19 bout. Tom Hannifan then announced that the 5th of 6 competitors has been set, throwing to a video package of Jack Evans.
Footage of Evans' time in AEW was show before he was added to the official match graphic. It is unclear if he has signed with the promotion or if this is a special appearance. Evans was part of the original AEW signings, but his contract wasn't renewed when it expired at the end of December. He was largely used alongside Angelico as TH2.
Evans last competed for IMPACT in September 2018, losing a four-way match that involved Petey Williams, Puma King, and Trevor Lee.
