The Jaguars draft pick sends his warm wishes to his new boss.
On April 25, the 2024 NFL Draft kicked off, as teams made their first-round picks. AEW CEO Tony Khan, who also serves as the Chief Football Strategy Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars, sparked plenty of buzz, as he was seen wearing a neck brace on the broadcast. The night before, Khan was attacked by Jack Perry and the Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) on AEW Dynamite.
The Jaguars selected LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round. Thomas Jr. was coming off a 2023 season in which he had 1,177 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.
The NFL on CBS Twitter/X account shared a clip in which Thomas Jr. was asked about Khan getting attacked, and he wished him a speedy recovery.
