Jacqueline reflects on becoming the first African-American woman to become WWF Champion.
In September of 1998, Jacqueline would capture the championship after the title was revived for the first time since 1995, defeating Sable to win the championship and make history.
While speaking to DS Shin of Ring The Belle, Jacqueline reflected on winning the WWE Women's Championship and becoming the first African-American woman to do so.
"Yes, but not only that, I made history. I was the first African-American women champion of WWF. So yeah, that was a special moment."
DS then asked Jacqueline about the backstage reaction to her win, with the former Women's Champion explaining it was once again, a special moment.
"I mean, it was a special moment. I was very happy. I was very delighted. It meant a lot. It was a very moment. I will never forget that."
Sable would go on to defeat Jacqueline to claim the title at Survivor Series 1998.
