James Ellsworth said you can't separate Hulk Hogan from WWE.
At Extreme Rules, Hulk Hogan met with the WWE locker room to apologize for his racial tirade released in a 2015 scandal. Earlier that day, WWE had reinstated him into the WWE Hall of Fame after a three year suspension.
On the DuhCast, James Ellsworth, who was at Extreme Rules for the Smackdown Women's Championship match, spoke about his experience seeing Hogan address the locker room.
"Hogan went up there and apologized for things he said and he didn't know he was being recorded obviously. For the most part, it seemed like everyone accepted his apology," said Ellsworth. "In our business, Hulk Hogan is the biggest star of all time. WWE and Hulk Hogan...it's peanut butter and jelly," he added.
Ellsworth went on to say that he believes Hogan regrets the things he said and he empathizes with someone who has made mistakes in their life. Ellsworth said he does not intend to defend Hogan's statements but people often say things they don't mean.
