JD McDonagh is excited to return to OTT.
As previously announced, WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh will appear at OTT Tenth Anniversary on October 26th. This will mark McDonagh's first non-dark match for OTT in 2019; he competed in a dark match in 2022. McDonagh is a former OTT World Champion and OTT No Limits Champion.
Speaking with Irish Wrestling & Entertainment, McDonagh was asked to comment on returning to OTT.
"Man, it’s absolutely beyond belief. It’s huge. The next couple months are just something 14-year-old me could never have written it any better. Returning to the homeland with Finn for OTT, it’s absolutely unbelievable," McDonagh said.
McDonagh then highlighted how Joe Cabray and the OTT team built up the product to the point that the crossover was a possibility. He was also asked about possibly facing OTT Tag Team Champions The Social Elite (Matthew Smyth & Sean Guinness).
“Again, I leave that up to Joe [Cabray]. I have no idea, coming in blind, and I don’t know what we’re doing," McDonagh said.
McDonagh went on to note that he thought that the story could be there for a potential match.
