JD McDonagh Vows To Dissect Bron Breakker, Diamond Mine Is Family, Axiom Flies High | NXT Fight Size

Here is your post-NXT 2.0 fight size update for July 19.

- NXT Champion Bron Breaker came to the ring and called out JD McDonagh, who attacked him at the end of The Great American Bash. The newcomer responded by appearing on the video screen. Standing next to a manikin, he vowed to dissect Breakker's shoulder. Unfazed, the champion dared McDonagh, but "The Ace" told him that he'd have to wait another day to see just how much his life had changed forever.

- The Diamond Mine has been on the edge of imploding for the past several weeks. This tension led to a singles match between Roderick Strong and Damon Kemp on Tuesday night. Tony D'Angelo interrupted the contest by appearing on the video screen; he and his family attacked the other Diamond Mine members. Strong capitalized on the distraction and pinned Kemp to win the match.

- The assault fired up The Diamond Mine, who promised to show D'Angelo that they are the strongest family in NXT 2.0. Later in the show, "The Don of NXT" noted that the group couldn't get along, so he declared that his stable will end the Diamond Mine next week.

- The numbers might not be in Diamond Mine's favor next week, but Axiom has already showcased his mastery of math. The newcomer debuted on Tuesday night and picked up a fairly dominant victory over Dante Chen.

- Axiom wasn't the only person who arrived to NXT 2.0. on Tuesday. Chase University returned from their class trip overseas, and they quickly got on Giovanni Vinci's bad side when their tour bus blocked him from leaving the parking lot.

- Axiom picked up an impressive win on Tuesday, and Xyon Quinn is hoping to turn heads next week. In a backstage interview, he announced that he'll be facing Apollo Crews next week. Ahead of their match, Quinn noted that Crews couldn't cut it on the main roster. He also promised that his X-factor will be on display next week.

- Xyon Quinn hopes his career will get back on track after he beats Crews next week. Likewise, in a backstage interview on Tuesday, Wes Lee admitted that he has been faced with some obstacles in recent weeks. He stated that, after he beats Grayson Waller next week, he'll be back on the path to finding himself.

- The Dyad revealed themselves on Tuesday night. After weeks of speculation, Joe Gacy unmasked the two men, who turned out to be the former Grizzled Young Veterans. He renamed them and teased that he will recruit more members to The Schism.

- The Grizzled Young Veterans' days as the NXT UK Tag Team Champions are behind them, but Pretty Deadly aimed to regain the gold this week. They came up short in a heated battle against Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, thanks to a timely assist from Fallon Henley.

- Cora Jade explained why she betrayed Roxanne Perez last week, saying that Perez was selfish when she decided to cash in her title shot after the duo had just won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship. Speaking of the gold, Jade threw her title in the trash.

- Speaking of titles, 20 women, including Cora Jade, competed in a battle royal, where the winner would earn a shot at the NXT Women's Championship. Zoey Stark returned from injury to compete in the match, and she ultimately won the contest by last eliminating Jade.

- Zoey Stark will aim to win the title, but Carmelo Hayes already has a title around his waist. Hayes spent some time at his barber shop and dismissed some of the potential contenders he might have to deal with. He said Von Wagner is living in the Melo-Verse, and Apollo Crews is lucky the champion let him on his show.

- JD McDonagh got into a heated confrontation with Bron Breakker on Tuesday, but he also defeated Cameron Grimes in a hard-fought match. Joe Gacy watched the bout, and he approached Grimes later in the show. He tried to tell the former North American Champion that he understood how he felt, but Grimes, fired up after his loss, stormed off into the night.

- Von Wagner and Solo Sikoa are members of the NXT roster, but they were at SmackDown last week. There, Wagner attacked Sikoa from behind and left him lying.

- After her win, Zoey Stark discussed her road to recovery and stated that she's focused on taking the title from Mandy Rose.

- Following their successful title defense, Briggs and Jensen made it clear that that they plan on keeping the NXT UK Tag Team Championship for a long time.
