Chris Jericho Faces Jungle Boy On 12/18 AEW Dynamite, Matches Set For 12/11 Dynamite

Chris Jericho is only wrestling one more match in 2019 and he'll put the AEW World Title on the line.

AEW World Champion Chris Jericho announced he would only wrestle one more match in 2019 and it will happen on the Dec. 18 AEW Dynamite. After running down the Lexicon of Le Champion of who he wouldn't wrestle (Moxley), he was confronted by the Jurassic Express. Jericho called Jungle Boy a "piece of shit" who wouldn't last 10 minutes with him. This led to Jungle Boy slapping Jericho.

Following the slap, Jericho vowed revenge on Dec. 18.

But before Jericho clashes with Jungle Boy in two weeks in Corpus Christi, AEW will head to Garland next week where two matches have been announced.

First, Proud N Powerful (Santana & Ortiz) will meet The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) in a Texas Street Fight. Santana & Ortiz were victorious over The Young Bucks at AEW Full Gear, but the Bucks got a measure of revenge in trios action on Wednesday's Dynamite.

Also announced for next week is The Butcher & The Blade taking on Cody & QT Marshall, who is fresh off getting hair plugs. The match was announced by MJF, who got to choose Cody's partner since Cody has no more friends. MJF also revealed that he was the man who sent The Butcher & The Blade after Cody.
