Recently on Jerry Lawler's "Dinner With The King" podcast, Lawler went over the on-going investigation by the 'Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation' into the reported suicide of Brian Lawler. Jerry expressed that he does have concerns that Brian may have not committed suicide and that he and his legal team have been in contact with inmates who were in Hardeman County jail with Brian and they alerted Jerry that the entire story has not been told.

"There's more to this than we can really talk about now. A lot of people have expressed , as I have, doubts as to whether Brian actually did commit suicide," said Jerry Lawler. "We've been contacted by inmates that were in the jail with Brian who said they don't believe what was told is exactly what happened...I probably shouldn't say anymore because this investigation is going to be on-going and it may take a long time to get this all sorted out," he continued.

Lawler added that his questioning of the suicide may be deriving from him grieving but he does want to find out the truth.

WMC Action News 5 in Memphis has published a new report which entails that Jerry "The King" Lawler and his lawyer Tim Hansom have some concerns about the reports of how Brian Lawler passed away. Jerry reiterated what was said on his podcast and stated that information has been relayed to him by those who were there the day of Brian's death and that information has changed his perspective on things.

"We've received literally countless calls, text messages from people, actual eyewitnesses, that were in the jail and saw things that happened on the actual day that Brian died that now has opened up a new can of worms,” Jerry said. “It just doesn't seem like it was suicide."

Jerry stated that he spoke with Brian the morning before Brian passed away and he seemed just fine. A few hours after Jerry spoke to Brian, Jerry's wife Lauryn received a call from the jail and was told that Brian was involved in a fight but it was nothing alarming. The fight kick-started as Brian was playing cards with a fellow inmate and then was hit. The WWE Hall Of Famer added that witnesses said Brian was bleeding from the head but was not given the medical attention that he asked for and then a few hours later the call came in that Brian hung himself.

Another portion of this case that makes Jerry Lawler question how his son died was that the Sheriff told Lawler's fiancee that Brian used shoestrings to hang himself but in the photos taken of Brian in the hospital, the photos showed marks on the side of Brian's neck but not on the front.

"Just look at his neck and look at his hand,” Jerry said. “You can see the lines on his neck all the way around here to here and what would be the length of your hand as if he was trying to keep the pressure off."

"I think the pictures indicate something other than someone hanging himself with a shoelace,” Tom Hansom said.

Lawler stated that his family will not quit until they find out the truth about how Brian "Grandmaster Sexay" Lawler passed away and Fightful will continue to update you as this story unravels.
