Jerry Lawler said the women are getting paid for the Greatest Royal Rumble event.
On Friday, WWE will be visiting Saudi Arabia for the Greatest Royal Rumble event which will feature seven championship matches, a 50-man Royal Rumble match, the Undertaker in action, but no women wrestlers. Triple H spoke earlier this week about WWE wanting to make that change in a future visit to Saudi Arabia. On Dinner with The King, Jerry Lawler and Jim Cornette discussed the event and Cornette suggested the women be paid despite not competing. Lawler replied by saying he believes that is the case.
"I think that's exactly what's happening," said Lawler.
In the rest of the conversation, Lawler expressed some concern for himself with privacy and calling himself "The King" in a country like Saudi Arabia and Lawler mentioned a fear of being beheaded a few times. Some parts of the conversation about WWE and Saudi Arabia were edited for unspecified reasons.
