Jim Ross Accidentally Refers To Kenny Omega As 'WWE Champion' On AEW Dynamite; He Is Not

Jim Ross made a minor mistake that certainly won't be talked about for weeks to come.

Throwing to a pre-taped video where Kenny Omega reads to kids, Jim Ross referred to Kenny Omega as the "WWE Champion."

He is not the WWE Champion.

Omega is, of course, the AEW Champion. Ross made sure to correct himself after the segment was over.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre gave the following response.

In recent interview, Cody Rhodes and Tony Khan have stated they are open to working with WWE as the "forbidden door" is open to anyone. Tony Khan even "begged" NXT to show up to AEW on Wednesdays, saying he would gladly let them in the building.
