Could Jim Ross be headed to All Elite Wrestling?
Appearing on ESPN's Outside The Lines, Ross was asked about his future in wrestling, specifically about joining AEW.
"I don't know. We're talking. I just haven't signed anything yet," said Ross. "My people and their people are doing their thing. The only agent I grew up knowing was a State Farm agent in Oklahoma. I got a real agent now man! So, they’re working on it."

Ross is still under contract to WWE until Mar. 29, but has already announced that he'll be leaving the company when his contract expires. Ross' name has been linked to AEW since the initial report in October 2018 stated Ross, Chris Jericho and agent Barry Bloom were the ones starting up a new wrestling promotion. A report in January said Ross would be heavily involved with AEW both as a commentator and in a backstage role.
If Ross and AEW were to confirm a deal, it's unlikely to happen until after his WWE contract officially expires.
