Jim Ross shared a medical update online.
On October 21, 2021, the AEW commentator shared on social media that he was undergoing a CT scan for a potential skin cancer issue that he has been dealing with for over a year. Ross said that he was remaining positive while he awaited the results of the test.
Now, just two days later, JR posted on Twitter that a skin cancer diagnosis was confirmed. Though he is waiting on the radiologist to determine the best course of action, he says that radiation is the most likely. That said, he is feeling great and ready to attack it head-on.
Not letting the news slow him down, Jim Ross is en-route to Orlando for tonight's special Saturday night edition of AEW Dynamite.
On my way to Orlando for tonight’s @AEW Dynamite.
