Jim Ross says Strowman could be "the guy" after an organic build.
On his podcast, Jim Ross discussed his time at the Greatest Royal Rumble event which included Braun Strowman winning the 50-man Royal Rumble. During the podcast, Ross spoke about the potential of Strowman who he sees great things for in the future.
"In 2019, he may be the guy," said Ross. "People are like 'you're killing him. you're making him a comedic character.' No you're not. You're making him a well rounded character. If he only did comedy like Santino Marella then I'm with you. That makes no sense...I think a mistake can be made regarding Strowman if you get into too big of a hurry. He needs to evolve in a natural, organic way," he continued.
Strowman will be competing in the Money in the Bank ladder match on June 17th against seven other wrestlers. It will be his first Money in the Bank match. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for the event.
