Jim Ross Says SD Women Might Be Taking James Ellsworth On "A Trip To The Woodshed"

Jim Ross says James Ellsworth has revenge coming his way.

Sunday was WWE Money in The Bank and Jim Ross had some positive things to say about the pay-per-view in his blog. But, he admits he looks for different qualities in wrestling shows than some fans.

Tommy Fury: I Look Forward To Possibly Climbing Through The WWE Ropes

"Unlike some fans who follow me on Twitter @JRsBBQ, and thanks if you do, I am more interested in execution and effort than I am the results of most matches including the MITB bouts Sunday night. This PPV was one primarily positioned to future developing storylines with Summer Slam in particular in WWE's creative cross hairs. I have zero issues with 'predictability' if it is the right thing to do," wrote Ross.

James Ellsworth retrieved the briefcase on behalf of Carmella in WWE's first Women's Money in The Bank match. WWE spent the week and some of the broadcast to establish the historical significance of the match. Ross said the ending was controversial but he expects a follow-up soon.

"James Ellsworth winning the MITB match for Carmella was controversial, to say the least, and one can likely expect that matter to be followed up on significantly on Tuesday's SDLIve. Ellsworth could have a trip to the woodshed in his immediate future by a bevy of hostile ladies," wrote Ross.

General Manager of Smackdown Daniel Bryan has expressed he was not happy with the outcome and would address the issue first thing on Smackdown. Ross also blogged about the events of WWE Money in the Bank including the Women's championship match, the debut of  Maria and Mike Kanellis, and the betting odds on Baron Corbin Sunday.
