Jimmy Uso won't face much trouble for his arrest last month.
In February, eventual WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso would be arrested in Detroit, Michigan for obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct. However, TMZ has learned that Uso's attorney John Freeman, landed a deal with prosecutors in which he agreed to plead no contest to interfering with a government employee. As a result, Uso will avoid any additional jail time and only be fined $450.
Uso's arrest took place after his wife, WWE Superstar Naomi, was pulled over for driving the wrong way down a one-way street. Police would allege that Uso took off his shirt and "squared up" with them. There was abbreviated body camera footage revealed recently that didn't show the incident as detailed. However, Fightful Select has learned that the police department has responded to a recent media request and mailed out the full footage, which will emerge in the coming weeks.
As far as Jimmy Uso's wrestling career, it hasn't suffered. He and twin brother Jey would win the Smackdown Tag Team Championships mere days later at the WWE Elimination Chamber show. Together, they're expected to be highly-sought out free agents if they don't re-sign with WWE.
