Jimmy Uso's status in The Bloodline remains complicated.
On the September 8 episode of WWE SmackDown, Jimmy Uso approached Paul Heyman backstage. During the conversation, Jimmy noted that nobody had told him that he is "out" of The Bloodline, so he was still "in." However, Heyman stated that Uso wouldn't fully be in until Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns said so.
Heyman then told Jimmy to take care of business of AJ Styles in the main event, and once he did, he would get the family back together.

In the main event, Uso came up short agianst Styles, though he attacked the former WWE Champion backstage earlier in the show. Heyman had told Uso that Solo Sikoa was absent, but The Bloodline's enforcer appeared at ringside during the match. Despite his presence, Styles still emerged victorious.
After the bell, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) attacked Styles and rolled him into the ring, leaving him at Sikoa's feet. Sikoa stared the duo down as the show came to an end.
