Joe Hendry says the TNA and WWE partnership has been the perfect example of business done right.
Joe Hendry has been one of TNA stars central to the companies crossover with WWE NXT, debuting in a battle royal to decide a number one contender for the NXT championship a few short months ago.
While speaking to USA Today in a recent interview, Hendry noted his belief that the TNA-NXT business relationship is an example of business done right.
“This partnership between TNA wrestling and WWE has been the perfect example of business done right. Business done right is where every single party wins. TNA wins because we're selling out regularly now, our crowds are getting so big. We're gaining so much from the increased exposure. WWE, a lot of their NXT talents are getting the opportunity to perform for a different audience. Wrestlers win and the fans win because it's an exciting product."
Hendry is currently scheduled to compete in a number one contenders triple threat match on this Tuesday's edition of NXT along with Pete Dunne and Wes Lee.
Hendry recently revealed that part of the relationship meant that he was able to train at the WWE Performance Centre. You can read more about that here.
