John Cena is back and he isn't going anywhere for the time being.
Cena made his return to WWE at Sunday's Money in the Bank pay-per-view, appearing in front of the live crowd following Roman Reigns' victory over Edge in the main event.
The leader of the C-Nation gave Roman the "You can't see me gesture" and played to the crowd as the show went off the air.
Following the show, Cena addressed the crowd at Dickies Arena.
"It's so weird because I'm used to you guys telling me how much I suck. Man, this feels pretty good. Look at this dude's sign of here, it says, 'If Cena shows up, we cheer!' is this bizarro world? What's going on? Tonight, I just wanted to come out here, and let Roman Reigns know that I was back, and I certainly wanted to come out here and let all the people know that I’m back. Now, I promise you this is not one night only, but what’s special to me is that this is the first night," said Cena.
He closed by thanking the WWE superstars for putting their bodies on the line in the name of entertainment and saying, "I've missed you guys. I've really really missed you guys. I love you guys. Thank you so much for being here."
