John Cena would like to be a WWE Superstar forever.
John Cena is one of the greatest WWE Superstar of all time, and is billed as the great of all time, winning multiple championships, headlining multiple WrestleManias, and being the face of the company. Being a WWE Superstar has been Cena's greatest role, and he would like to be in that role forever.
Speaking to Extra TV, Cena was asked if he could play one role in one genre forever, what would that role be?
"I knew this before you even finished the question. WWE superstar. I wish I could do that infinitely, in perpetuity, forever. I wish I could go out in the middle of that ring, in front of a live audience on Raw or SmackDown, there is no energy like it," he said.
When asked about winding down his career, Cena replied, "It's coming. When you seriously have to take a look at yourself and realize, 'Hey, I haven't yet lost my fastball, but I've lost a few miles per hour off that fastball,' I think you have to face the truth sometimes. It is a young man's game and time is undefeated. I want to stay at the pace of the product, and the product is running a fast pace. I have to play my hand accordingly. When I can't keep up, I should allow those who can the opportunities the business gave me. I think that's really important."
