Josh Barnett and Jon Moxley finally had their fight and it was a bloody one for the ages.
Bloodsport 6 was headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Josh Barnett. This fight was supposed to happen several times at previous Bloodsport events but kept being pushed off.
When it was time for the two men to actually throw down, both were left bloodied and Jon Moxley was left without his undefeated streak in the Bloodsport Arena.
Josh Barnett was able to win via referee stoppage when John Moxley was unable to answer and defend himself intelligently while Josh Barnett stomped him several times. Briefly, there was a thought that the match might be restarted because Jon Moxley immediately popped up and wanted to keep fighting, but ultimately it was decided that he could not continue and the fight was awarded to Josh Barnett.
After the fight, both men thanked each other and the audience for giving their all to professional wrestling and it was teased that we would see the fight again one day.
