Kane Explains How Undertaker's Advice Helped Him In Politics

Kane applied some Undertaker wisdom to politics.

Glenn Jacobs (also known as WWE's Kane) recently won the primary election for the republican nomination for the mayoral race in Knox County, Tennessee. He won the race by a slim margin and in an interview with Sports Illustrated, Jacobs talked about some advice given to him by the Undertaker which helped him in politics.

“His advice was to work hard and stay true to what I believe. He was always a great role model of mine. Night in and night out, he gave everything he could for the audience. That’s what I have always done in wrestling,” said Kane. "That translates to the political realm because you need to go out every day and give everything you have for your constituents and make sure their interests are represented. I think that’s why, nowadays, we’re seeing this backlash against so-called career politicians," he later added.

Jacobs went on to say he wants to represent the interest of the citizens of Knox County and he believes that is what people are looking for in a candidate.
