Karrion Kross: They Are Building New Stars In NXT, It Doesn’t Help Them If I Go Back Down There And Chainsaw Through

Karrion Kross discusses possibly returning to NXT for another run on the brand.

Since being called up to the WWE main roster, Karrion Kross has been involved in several major feuds, but has yet to taste championship gold. However, while in NXT, Kross was a two time NXT Champion, with some fans wondering if another run on the brand could benefit the leader of The Final Testament.

While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Kross commented on possibly heading back down to NXT, noting that him running through the brand's roster would only be a bad thing.

"Sometimes, I do. The truth of the matter with that is, in my opinion, NXT is a program where they are attempting to build new stars. They want to create stars for the future. Somebody can encourage me to say yes and try to pander to an audience listening and make them feel like that’s something that they want. I know what it’s like being someone coming up trying to get something you’re after, and it sucks when somebody comes in, who already has had their shot, who has already been there, who was already given everything you could possibly want; undefeated, win a championship, the whole thing. They’re coming back in here and now that spot is unavaible for somebody who really needs it to move into. I’m so grateful and proud of my work in NXT, but for the sake of everybody else down there, I don’t think I should be down there doing it, I really don’t. If I were to comeback for a match that people would want to see, like a one-off, a program for people to watch, that’s different. To go back down there and chainsaw through everybody, that’s not going to help them. It would help me and people would love it, I’d make sure they would love it. There would be a body count. There would be bodies everywhere. People flying down the stairs. For the functionality of the program, there are new people coming up and the business needs those people. They are learning and they have all the best minds down there."

Kross, along with The Final Testament, are currently members of the Monday Night RAW roster, and have been involved with Xavier Woods and The Miz in recent weeks.

Kross also recently addressed his online feud with Bobby Lashley. You can read more about that here.
