Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay and EVIL advanced to the final four in the NJPW G1 Climax 33 tournament.
Naito, who finished first in D Block, defeated Hikuleo, who finished second in A Block.
Will Ospreay, second in B Block, knocked off David Finlay, first in C Block.
In the upset of the tournament, SANADA, first in A Block and reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, lost to EVIL, second in C Block. It marked SANADA's first loss in the tournament. He went undefeated in round robin action.
Finally, Kazuchika Okada, first in B Block, defeated Zack Sabre Jr, second in D Block.
EVIL will face Okada while Ospreay will battle Naito in the semifinals on August 12. The finals are set to take place on August 13.
