Ken Anderson, Mr. Kennedy in WWE, comments on LA Knight being compared to him.
During an interview with Rewind Recap Relive, Anderson was asked about comparisons to the current WWE United States Champion. He praised Knight's genuine personality and said he doesn't feel like he's being copied because there's nothing genuinely new in wrestling, in his opinion.
He also remarked that he had the opportunity to work with Knight briefly in the NWA.
"I get it. I appreciate it, like, I don't think that anybody is copying anybody. That's his genuine persona. Yeah, he may have taken inspiration from different people, as we all do. There really is nothing in wrestling that's new. It's all sort of borrowed and tweaked, right? But I think he's great. I actually got a chance to work with him at NWA for a little while. I wish him nothing but the best."
Elsewhere in the interview, Anderson spoke about one of the biggest regrets of his career. Read more here.
Anderson recently spoke about how doing a piledriver to The Undertaker got him reprimanded by Vince McMahon. Learn more here.
