Kenny Omega And Gabe Kidd Battle In Bloody Bout That Makes Hiroshi Tanahashi Cry At NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty

Kenny Omega made a successful return to the ring at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, defeating Gabe Kidd in a hard hitting and bloody affair.

The match saw both men get busted open and go through tables. Omega hit a powerbomb through a table on Kidd, while Kidd put Omega through a table with a brainbuster. At one point, they exchanged chair shots to the head, but that wasn't enough to put either man down.

Omega hit a V-Trigger near the end of the match, but Kidd kicked out at one. A defiant Kidd then ate a Kamigoye followed by the One Winged Angel, giving Omega the victory.

This was Omega's first match since December 2023. He was sidelined all of 2024 after battling diverticulitis and undergoing surgery.

The camera cut to Hiroshi Tanahashi crying in the post-match.
