Kenny Omega doesn't agree with Roman Reigns' claims of being the best in the world.
Talking to Bleacher Report, Omega talked about Reigns' comments on the WWE Network show Straight to the Source. He openly wondered if it was something WWE's social media team devised, or if it was something that came from Reigns himself. At the same time, he also thinks that it was a smart move, considering it got a lot of people talking.
"I don't know if Roman was put up to saying a comment like that from a social media team or if it was something that he consciously thought of himself," Omega told Bleacher Report. "But I thought it was pretty smart of him to do—to say—that, because it became instantaneously a topic that people were talking about. And just because it sounds so ridiculous. You know what I mean?"
"By no means do I actually think he believes in those words. There's no possible way" he further added.
Of course, when it comes to pro wrestling, everything is subjective. But Omega and Reigns will continue to try and prove who is the best in the next few months as they continue to compete for their respective companies. Omega will next defend the IWGP United States title against Jay White at The New Beginning In Sapporo on January 28 and later that day, Roman Reigns will try to win the Royal Rumble match at the titular PPV in Philadelphia.
