Kenny Omega is back.
After a grueling match with Gabe Kidd at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, the former AEW World Champion made his long awaited AEW television return on the January 8 edition of AEW Dynamite.
Omega started off his promo by recapping his battle with Diverticulitis, saying that he was asking doctors about how quickly he would be able to return to the ring.
'The Cleaner' shifted his focus to wanting to give his all to the fans, saying that he isn't living if he's not making the crowd feel some which way. Omega then said that he isn't concerned with money, power, or revenge this time around.

Omega was then unfortunately interrupted by Don Callis. Before Callis could even make it to the ring, Omega darted after him and tackled him on the stage. This led to Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher, and Lance Archer hitting the stage to attack Omega.
Things looked dire for Omega, as the group continued the attack on Omega inside the ring. Before things went too far, Will Ospreay hit the ring and made the save. Dynamite went off the air as Omega and Ospreay stood face-to-face.
