Who is the best wrestler in Winnipeg? According to Chris Jericho, it’s not Kenny Omega.
The first ever WWE Undisputed Champion didn’t take too kindly to a tweet that proclaimed Omega as the new “Best in the World.” Jericho isn’t sure Omega is the best in his city of birth, much less the entire world.
Jericho continued to dismiss any notion that Omega is the Best in Winnipeg as more fans chimed in.
The current IWGP United States Champion and leader of the Bullet Club finally weighed in on the situation. He didn’t dispute any claim of being the Best in the World or Winnipeg. He just offered a simple piece of advice.
Jericho has since gone on a Twitter blocking spree, ignoring fans who are attempting to argue Omega’s case.
Omega was a guest on Jericho’s podcast Talk Is Jericho earlier this year, so the two Winnipeg natives are not unfamiliar with each other. The usually outspoken wrestler turned rocker has been quiet of the Bullet Club-WWE battle, although he did call Jimmy Jacob's decision to take a photo with his friends, "Not smart."
