WWE Title match official at SummerSlam.
A decade long rivalry finally gets settled at WWE SummerSlam. On tonight's episode of SmackDown, Kofi Kingston issued his SummerSlam challenge, calling out Randy Orton to face him for the WWE Title. The two men engaged in a war of words with Kofi referencing Orton using his backstage influence to prevent The Jamaican Sensation from being pushed in 2009-10. Orton shot back, saying he is the only reason Kofi is the reigning, defending, WWE World Heavyweight Champion because he is the man who took out Ali, which allowed Kofi to take his spot at Elimination Chamber.
In the end, Orton accepted Kofi's challenge, making their WWE Title match at SummerSlam official.
