Kris Statlander Says Competing At AEW All In: Zero Hour Isn't A Bad Thing, 'You Set The Tone For The Show'

Kris Statlander hopes to work her way up to main eventing pay-per-view events, but for now, she's happy to be included.

Kris Statlander's rivalry with Willow Nightingale will see a new chapter on August 25 when Statlander teams with Stokely Hathaway and Nightingale teams with Tomohiro Ishii as part of the AEW All In: Zero Hour. While the Zero Hour technically means that the match won't be a part of the official show, Statlander says she has no problem with the spot on the card and his happy to be setting the tone for such an evening.

Speaking on the Under The Ring Podcast, Statlander explained why she's just happy to be included and noted enjoying that competing on the pre-show allows her to watch the rest of the event uninhibited.

"I mean, I think there's benefits to being on multiple spots on the card. I think probably the ideal, best spot, in my opinion, that I've ever wrestled in was like the third match on the show," she explained. "That's a really good spot because there's a lot of pressure on the first matches. It's kind of like setting the tone for how the show is going to go. Again, I don't know the order of the card, but being on the Zero Hour is definitely not a bad thing. It's still being a part of the show, and I've done a lot of Zero Hours lately. So a good way, a good thing that I like to think of it is like, again, you get to set the tone for the show, and then once you're done, you get to relax and you get to watch everything else, which I love to do.

"As honorable as it is to be in the main event, there's so much pressure with that, because you close out the show," she continued. "I hope that one day I can be worthy of that position. But I'm, I'm very content with the position being on Zero Hour, being third, first, fifth on a show. I'm just happy to be included."
