Kris Statlander To Willow Nightingale: If You're Obsessed With Me, Just Say That

Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander have a message for Willow Nightingale.

It's the dawn of a new day for Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander. After turning their backs on Willow Nightingale, Statlander made a definitive statement by defeating Robyn Renegade on the June 8 episode of AEW Saturday Collision.

After the match, she declared for the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament. However, moments later, Willow Nightingale, last year's tournament winner, also declared for the tournament.

In a digital exclusive promo, Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander teased Nightingale about being obsessed with them with Hathaway saying he finally understands Mariah Carey's song.

Kris Statlander: Hey, Stoke, did you hear the news? Willow Nightingale has entered herself into the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament minutes after we said that I was the first to enter the tournament.

Stokely Hathaway: Yeah, and I just mean, damn, can you get off her back?!

Kris Statlander: She's just always trying to follow in my footsteps and I just -- if you're obsessed with me, just say that.

Stokely Hathaway: It's funny that you say that because I was listening to some Mariah Carey on my way to the building today and it's never resonated with me until now, but Mariah has a song that's called 'Obsessed,' and now I know exactly how she felt. Willow Nightingale, we've never been one to back away from a challenge, but if a challenge is what you want, a challenge is what you got.

Nightingale would end up chasing off Statlander at the end of the June 8 episode of Collision just as she was about to cause physical harm to her former best friend Orange Cassidy.
