Kurt Angle has announced that he will be playable in an upcoming wrestling video game that is card-based.
Kurt Angle is no stranger to wrestling video games. He has appeared in dozens of them since making his debut in WWE Royal Rumble, which was released in arcades in the year 2000. In the years since, he had been a major part of many video games as a pro wrestler, general manager, and more.
Now, Kurt Angle is going to be a part of a new wrestling video game, a card-based project in the works called All Time Wrestling.
Kurt Angle will be one of the eight wrestlers featured in the game, four of which will be actually based on wrestling legends.
You can read the full description of the video game from the developers below:
Clak! Zap! Boom!” A frightening roar echoed through the chambers of the arena. This is the sound of something sinister. This is a beast, grinding and twisting, bending the forces of the universe to the will of its master.
A master who is obsessed with finding the definitive answer to the question of “who is the greatest wrestler of all time?”
Now, his beast, the world’s only time machine, brings forward the very best. Champions of past, present and future generations. Legends who seek to cement their legacy as the best of all time. Champions of all time.
This is All Time Wrestling.
This is where legends collide.
This is where your destiny awaits.
All Time Wrestling (ATW) is a card-and-dice game that brings the fast-paced action and excitement of Professional Wrestling to your tabletop. With standard and advanced modes of play, ATW is accessible to gamers and non-gamers alike, using intuitive mechanics that are reminiscent of your favorite Wrestling games.
Choose your champion from the legends of past, present and future, each with their own deck of attacks, abilities, signature moves and finishers! Play your cards to unleash devastating combos, powerbombs and piledrivers, aerial stunts, and deadly submissions… but will the dice be in your favor?
The game will be playable via Tabletop Simulator and there will be a Kickstarter started for the project soon.
