Kushida wants to return the favor.
On the April 13 episode of NXT, Kushida answered Santos Escobar's open challenge for a shot at the NXT Cruiserweight Champion. Kushida was victorious in the bout, capturing the NXT Cruiserweight Title for the first time in his career.
Now, Kushida wants to give someone else the same opportunity, announcing an open challenge for his NXT Cruiserweight Title for the April 20 episode of NXT.

Kushida is also set to hold a Championship Celebration on Tuesday's NXT.
As previously announced Sarray will make her in-ring debut on Tuesday's NXT. She will be facing Zoey Stark. Plus, there will be a sit down interview with Io Shirai and Breezango will face Grizzled Young Veterans in tag team action.
