La Rosa Negra was absent from Night One of the Crockett Cup.
The NWA announced during their broadcast that La Rosa Negra would not be competing at the event after having been in a car accident. It was said that she is doing well and recovering. Though they gave no timetable for her return, they did say that she would be back soon.
La Rosa Negra was supposed to take part in the Hardcore Team War match, teaming with Samantha Starr and M95 (Madi Wrenkowski and Missa Kate). Her surprise replacement in the bout was Ruthie Jay.
Throughout 2023, La Rosa Negra has been a mainstay on NWA programming, even challenging Kamille for the NWA World Women's Championship in April at NWA 312.
